About Bill
Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, I am now in my early 50s and working as a web designer and search engine optimiser. In previous times I have been a sound engineer working with bands and theatre companies, and a bookseller.
In addition to running this site I am also membership administrator of the Dorothy Dunnett Readers’ Association.
I play chess, not as often as I would like, and am currently President of the Edinburgh Chess League and Membership Secretary for the Edinburgh Chess Club. My other interests include photography, music, hill-walking, and history.
